Welcome

My work is primarily a reflection of my love of the making process. The primitive method of coiling and smoke-firing makes me feel at one with nature. I love the sea and the natural forms found on beaches such as pebbles, shells, fossils and the patterns left in the sand when the sea has retreated which inspire the forms I create.

Each pot is individually hand-built and smoke fired with sawdust from different woods which contribute towards creating a unique pattern on the surface of each vessel, so that no two pots are ever the same. Finally all my work is polished with bees wax and buffed to a satin shine ready for its new home.

My work is currently exhibited at a select number of galleries see 'Exhibiting Galleries' page.
